If you live in Jozi you can’t not know that Rosebank Mall’s been undergoing a massive overhaul for what feels like a really, really long time. I’m so glad its finally all coming to and end because 1) it’s the closest large mall to home for me and 2) it’s the only one Cinema Nouveau in Jozi (yes, I like hanging out with the pensioners, in fact it’s an indulgence!)
One of the new tenants in the super suave mall (I’m still getting my head around the new layout – must visit more!) Coricraft recently, invited me in to have a private look see at their new 800 square meter space. Part of me was excited to go and the rest of me didn’t want to go because I knew I’d leave
wanting needing things for our new home.
In the past Coricraft has always made me think “furniture” but these days you can expect heaps of accessories and a “Sleep Studio” where you can style & personalize your sleep sanctuary with your choice of headboards, beds, bases, pedestals, dressers & blankets.
If you know me, you’ll know that I have a thing for leather so a leather bar was a 1st for me. This is a new concept for Coricraft & lets you choose the size, style & leather finish (or fabric if you prefer) of your sofa so it’s made to order & completely personalized.
A closer look at the leather bar options…
So did I see anything I like? Yes!
Swazi Plate R895
Round Iron Votive R150
Harlan Pouffe Ottoman R1695
Diana Cake Stand
Ok but I digress. The thing we actually need at home is a coffee table for our lounge. The space is already very dark because of the wooden floors & built in bookshelf, face brick fireplace & 2 oversized chocolate brown coaches and an Eames Lounger & ottoman (in black). Added to that I made the mistake of choosing (& paying extra for!) blackout lining for our lounge curtains. So yes, sadly, vampires could live in there.
Soooo what we need is a coffee table – something in metal to add interest & light. I spend a lot of time in our living room. Its where I blog (our office is still unfurnished) and I’m tried of balancing cups of tea of the on the couch’s arm – it’s very ended badly a few times!
A) Chinnu Lamp Table set – R1995
B) Iron Rectangular Tray Table – R995
C. Iron Tray Table – R795
D) Matchstick Lamp Table R1295
I thought the pricing was decent & I didn’t thnk I’d have options from R795. Still I’m not 100% sure what to pick, so help me choose from the above 4 pieces to lighten up & add texture to my living room & I’ve got a R500 Coricraft voucher up for grabs. Just pop your comment below with the coffee table you think I should go for: A, B, C or D.
Competition closes 13th October 2014.
