#CashInOnYourCravings & win a cooking course & R10k daily with Cadbury
I spent an evening last week with the Cadbury’s Team at The Cookery, doing (as you may have guessed!) a cooking class to celebrate their current #CashInYourCravings campaign (more on that in a bit). I really didn’t expect to have as much fun as I did (but hey, there’d be lotsa chocolate right?) so when they asked if I’d like to offer the same experience to a reader, I didn’t even need to think it through before I replied “hell yes!”.
We were a smallish group (maybe 12 or 15) and I brought my bae QueenofJozi along as my +1 which I’m sure made it at least double the fun. We “drew” chocolates from a (fancy Le Creuset) pot to choose teams and I was on team Cadbury Lunch Bar – the coolest team, obviously π We were around 4 teams, each cooking three dishes that made up the menu for the night, under the supervision of the SecretJoziChef in a super cool space (sponsored in part by Kitchen Aid!)
My team made a roasted chicken & red pepper soup, pita bread with Tirokafteri (a feta & chilli dip) and Chocolate Box brownies (with chunks of Crunchie on top!). My contribution to the cooking was um, minimal (I was focused on IG stories – don’t judge!). One of the other teams made gnocchi which I always wanted to learn so I sat in on that (it’s actually not hard!).
My favourite, favourite dish of the day was the PS I love you ice-cream (OMG!) which was served with our Chocolate Box brownies – it tasted like ice-cream and mascarpone had a baby!:)
While I had kinda heard about the #CashInOnYourCravings competition here & there, I only got it that night & its simple:
- you buy a participating Cadbury chocolate bar (Cadbury Lunch Bar & Cadbury Lunch Bar Mini, Cadbury PS Milk Chocolate & Cadbury PS Caramilk, Cadbury Crunchie & Cadbury 5 Star)
- you dial *120*101112# & follow the prompts
- you’ll need to enter the code on the inside of your wrapper
There’s a R10k winner everyday and the competition ends 31st October – read: you have less than a week left to enter!!!
Funny story – I felt a little blonde for not “getting it” before so when I got home I dug all my old wrappers from the trash (luckily we recycle so that’s not too gross an exercise) and sat on garage floor there & then that night after the event and entered! I won airtime a couple of times but fingers crossed I win that R10k please! (#TheAndersonTwins ain’t cheap!).
In light of Cadbury’s #CashInOnYourCravings I’m giving away a cooking experience for you and a bestie (Jhb only) so just let me know in the comments below which of the participating Cadbury chocolate bars mentioned above is your favourite. I’ll go first: Cadbury 5 Star – OMG it tastes like the old Cadbury’s Tempo!!!
The Cadbury’s #CashinYourCravings Competition closes 31st October so get your choccies and comment below asap to win that Cooking experience for you and your bestie (my competition closes the same date!).

Definitely 5 star, itβs ooey gooey caramel with crunchy biscuits enrobed with chocolate. πππ And yes I was a tempo fan too back in the day πππ. Would β€οΈ to win π
Definitely 5 βοΈ for me β love the gooey fudgey ooziness with each bite π
Cadbury PS Caramilk is my weakness πππ! The combination of the caramel and crunchy wafer is just heavenly. Not only is it delicious but it always brings back the fondest memories of a primary school crush handing me one on Valentineβs Day written βI love youβ.
Lunch barβ¦..obvious πππππ
5 Star for the win! π
Love crunchie so much!! Itβs been a craving during my pregnancy!
My favorite has got to be the lunchbarπ that load of delicious wafer, caramel, peanuts & crisped rice.. what could be more mouthwatering? (literal drools as I type this). & ofcourse that mix of delicious ingredients would make for perfect use in desserts or just munching on.
Absolutely 5 star π .. I was basically addicted to Tempo in university. Eating the 5 star does bring back good campus memories.
