The Africa International Hair Extravaganza-take two… (on this weekend!)

Ok, so you may recall that I made no qualms about how I felt about last year’s AIHE and so I’m pleasantly surprised that they’re back this year with what looks like a very different show.

The line-up, pricing, and venue all look very promising with HUGE local & international sponsors & partners. Given where they’ve come from, things can only get better. What I’m most excited about is that the angle seems to have changed from being a hair show to one that promises education no matter how you wear you hair (see the 3rd/last poster below).

An event like this has the potential to be a massive success and is needed in SA, so fingers crossed.

I am off to the media launch today, but though I’m curious to, I’m not sure I’m going to make it out there over the weekend to attend the actual event, so do let me know what you think if you go.

Tickets are available at Web Tickets from R100. For more details you can visit the AIHE website.

As always, be kind to your hair!
