I’m back (well sort of) & congrats to the Huetiful winners!

Travelling is amazing.

I’ll never ever get my fill but I have to say the cliché is true: it’s always good to be back home. My own bed, shower, food, loo – totally underrated!

However, I feel a bit like this…

I have so much to share about my trip to Ethiopia and my KZN road trip but there’s just so much going on in life in general right now (did I mention we finally got that darn house!) I’m more than a little overwhelmed – and that doesn’t happen often.  So I’ll be easing into things the coming weeks (read: expect sporadic posts) and I’ll be back in full swing in July.

Believe it or not I was quite torn between continuing to blog, reply to mails etc. and well having a holiday and I decided on the latter and paid the price: I’ve just ploughed through 1300+ emails and it was totally worth it! 🙂

Straight onto business – I ran a competition last moth for two of these stunning Huetiful Hair (& facial) steamers worth over R1500 each and aren’t (yet) locally available in SA. This was one of the best competitions I’ve ever had the pleasure of running – so glad you guys loved it. DSC_2677web_1_1024x1024-1

Ok so the winners are:

1. Chiedza Chikoto

Chiedza Chikoto (how stunning is she?!?) descries herself as a 20 something year old marketing coordinator constantly rediscovering herself in the pursuit of awesomeness. She’s a lover of tattoos, babies, sunshyne, cocktails and words (an avid reader). She used to blog and hopes to write a book by the time she turns 30. She says her ideal job would be as a guitar playing pastry chef 🙂

2. Bongiwe Mavimbela

Bongiwe is 21-year-old third year college student from PE & says she’s currently doing Electrical Engineering (smart lady!) & is passionate about life and making a difference in the world.

Huge congrats ladies – this really is a very special prize & I know you’re the envy of many.

I will have them to you asap – enjoy!
