Harties from a different angle…

So I know I said I wouldn’t be blogging but I thought I’d embrace technology and try to do a post entirely from my S3, so here goes…

Yesterday saw the kick-off of the Ford Ranger Odyssey adventure back where it all started at De Rust just 3 weeks ago. I hitched a ride there with the boys (thanks Kugesh!) and we headed over to one of our instructor’s homes while we waited for the girls to fly in.

We’ve been so spoilt with amazing gear & camping goodies so much so that I sent some of the stuff I’d packed back home (ok, ok, I just packed really badly!).

We’ve known each other all of 3 weeks but it was so good to see everyone again, it felt like a reunion! When the girls arrived we headed up the cable car, something thats been on my to do list forever and a day. It’s beautiful, such a must do (its open 7 days a week & costs R120 and R70 for kids under 14 by the way)! We ditched the picnic benches and sprawled on the grass with a lazy pizza lunch taking in this view over the Magalies…

We’re at the airport right now, flying at 11. Next update (wi-fi dependent) from Nairobi…
